“The Voice” Season 27 Finalists Revealed—Fans Shocked by Unexpected Eliminations and Surprise Comebacks!

Meet The Singers Who Entered The Voice Semi-Finals

At last, the finalists for Season 27 of The Voice have been determined!

The first several months of this season were pre-taped. That means that the coaches made all of the decisions regarding who to save and who to eliminate.

The Voice finally went live for the first time this season on Monday (May 12). The semi-finals episode featured performances from 12 contestants.

Each coach had three artists in the semi-finals. Two contestants per team naturally advanced last week (on May 5), forming the Top 8. Those artists were:

Iris Herrera and Alanna Lynise of Team Kelsea
Lucia Flores-Wiseman and Kolby Cordell of Team Adam
Bryson Battle and Renzo of Team Legend
Adam Davis and Jadyn Cree of Team Bublé

In a surprise twist, each coach learned they could bring back one contestant who’d been eliminated from the competition. Those lucky contestants were revealed on the May 12 episode, and they included:

Jaelen Johnston of Team Kelsea
Conor James of Team Adam
Olivia Kuper Harris of Team Legend
Kaiya Hamilton of Team Bublé

These contestants also performed during the semi-finals, forming the Top 12. But by the end of Tuesday night’s (May 13) results episode, the Top 12 had become the Top 5. That’s when the finalists for Season 27 were revealed!

The Finalists For Season 27 Of The Voice Include…

First, host Carson Daly named four contestants automatically saved by America’s votes. They included:

Jaelen Johnston of Team Kelsea
Lucia Flores-Wiseman of Team Adam
Renzo of Team Legend
Jayden Cree of Team Bublé

Then, Carson revealed the four contestants competing for an “Instant Save” to secure the final spot in the Top 5. Those contestants included:

Adam David of Team Bublé
Olivia Kuper Harris of Team Legend
Iris Herrera of Team Kelsea
Bryson Battle of Team Legend

After those four contestants performed their “Instant Save” songs and the votes were tallied, it was revealed that Adam David landed the last spot in the Top 5!

Unfortunately, Olivia Kuper Harris, Iris Herrera, Bryson Battle, Kaiya Hamilton, Conor James, Alanna Lynise, and Kolby Cordell were all eliminated from the competition.

The Voice Shares Details About Season 28

Voice fans have received a lot of exciting news recently. On Monday (May 12), the coaches for Season 28 were revealed.

We previously knew that Snoop Dogg would return to coach Season 28. But the other three coaches remained unknown for several weeks.

Finally, we learned that returning coaches Michael Bublé, Niall Horan, and Reba McEntire will round out the panel. Bublé is the only coach returning from Season 27.

Both Horan and McEntire took brief breaks from The Voice. McEntire skipped Season 27 after coaching during Seasons 24 through 26 (and winning Season 25). Horan last coached during Season 25, which he won. He previously won Season 24 as well.

Since Bublé won Season 26, Snoop Dogg is the only coach on the next season that doesn’t yet have a win under his belt. Maybe Season 28 will be his turn!

An exact release date for Season 28 has not been revealed. However, The Voice shared that fans can expect the new season to premiere sometime in the fall.
