Kelly Clarkson kept her trademark humor and candor on full display during night two of her Las Vegas residency, Studio Sessions, at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The 43-year-old singer joked about a wardrobe mishap involving her pasties slipping off mid-show — and how she’s happily embarrassing her kids along the way.

In a video clip from the July 12 concert shared on TikTok, Clarkson warned the audience about the nipple covers hidden beneath her T-shirt possibly sliding due to sweat. “I’m like a Slip-n-Slide underneath,” she quipped. “This might start sticking to me, and I’m not gonna lie, I have these pasty things on under here because there’s [an outfit] change coming and I can’t have a line.”

She teased the crowd: “You might all of a sudden see boobs here,” motioning near her waist. “I am so hot. Is this the change? Is this the night that it starts happening?”

Before launching into her next song, the American Idol alum playfully warned fans of a potential nip slip. “Oh my god, it’s going to happen and then I’m going to do this for you,” she said, shimmying her chest. “And just really turn you on. Is anyone single? Looking? I’m just kidding.”

Clarkson also gave a shoutout to her two kids — daughter River, 11, and son Remington “Remy,” 9 — joking about how she’s probably embarrassing them. “They’re like, ‘Stop talking,’” she laughed. “I hope y’all have fun. I am completely going to embarrass you with things that I say — you’re welcome, it builds character.”

The residency kicked off on July 11 after a delayed start originally set for the Fourth of July. Clarkson postponed the opening due to voice strain from intense rehearsals, a decision she took seriously to protect her vocal cords. A source told People she “didn’t want to cancel any shows” but was devastated to disappoint fans who had traveled to see her.

Clarkson has been refreshingly open about previous wardrobe mishaps. In April, she recalled a near disaster on tour when a skirt clip broke and her skirt fell. “I was commando,” she admitted on her talk show, turning the embarrassing moment into a laugh.
