Former Coaches Blake Shelton And Kelly Clarkson Are Set To Return To The Voice During The Show’s Upcoming Season Finale
Season 27 of The Voice has gone by quickly, and the show is now just days away from crowning its next winner.
With the finale less than two weeks away, fans can’t wait to find out which contestant will take the top spot and which coach will lead their team member to victory.
In the meantime, exciting new details about the upcoming finale have been revealed.
NBC has confirmed that the finale will include performances from the show’s top 5 finalists and all four current coaches: Kelsea Ballerini, Michael Bublé, Adam Levine, and John Legend.
Not only that, but the show will also welcome back some fan-favorite former coaches. Country superstar Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson are both set to make special appearances on stage.

Blake Shelton was one of the original coaches when The Voice first premiered in 2011. He served as a coach for 23 seasons before officially stepping away in 2023. To this day, Shelton holds the title for most wins in the show’s history.
Kelly Clarkson joined The Voice as a coach in Season 14 and remained through Season 21. She later returned for Season 23. She officially left after relocating to New York for her daytime talk show. During her time as a coach, she won the competition four times.
The star-studded musical guest lineup doesn’t end there. Viewers can also look forward to performances by Alicia Keys with Amanda Reid, Chance the Rapper, Foreigner, James Bay with Sheryl Crow, Joe Jonas, and Season 22 winner Bryce Leatherwood.
‘The Voice’ Announces Season 28 Coaches
Along with the details about the Season 27 finale, The Voice has also announced its coaches for Season 28.
The show shared last month that Snoop Dogg will return to his spot in the iconic red chairs. He first joined the show as a coach in Season 26.
Now, the rest of the coaching lineup has been revealed. Niall Horan, Michael Bublé, and Reba McEntire will all be returning for Season 28 of The Voice, which is set to air this fall.
The Voice continues tonight, May 12, with the Live Semi-Final performances beginning.
